There are three apps and they are all by Yeastar (manufacturer) and are all named Linkus (general model).

1. Linkus Mobile App

  • For Android (including GrapheneOS) and iOS (Apple)
  • Great for users who are on the go—field techs, salespeople, remote workers, etc.
  • Offers full softphone functionality: calls, voicemail, contacts, chat, and presence.
  • Push notifications help save battery and ensure you don’t miss calls.
  • Can use mobile data or Wi-Fi—very flexible.

Note: On GrapheneOS, you’ll want to sideload it since Google Play Services aren’t present.

2. Linkus Desktop App

  • For Windows and macOS (installed software)
  • Best for office-based users who want full call control from their computer.
  • Offers more advanced functionality: call pop-ups, click-to-call, hotkeys, integration with CRMs (if configured).
  • IT managers tend to like this for power users, but it does require maintenance—ensuring OS updates, firewall rules, audio drivers, and the app itself are all current.
  • May not be ideal for “low-touch” IT environments.

3. Linkus Web Client

  • Browser-based, no install needed
  • Fastest to deploy and easiest to maintain.
  • Runs in Chrome or Firefox—nothing to install, and updates automatically when your Cloud PBX updates.
  • Ideal for lightweight use: front desk, hybrid workers, or businesses that want to avoid installing software on local machines.
  • Lacks very few of the more advanced CRM integrations or hotkey features of the desktop app, but covers all the basics extremely well.

Recommendation

If your users are mobile, go with the mobile app. If they sit at a desk and need more control, the desktop app is great—but keep in mind it adds IT overhead. For most others, the web client is a solid, low-maintenance option that works surprisingly well in everyday use.
